Sky News Chris Kenny says many were disgusted with the anarchy and selfish behaviour of activists protesting in Sydney city on Monday – but the ABC was “much more sympathetic”.
It comes as heavy police presence around Sydney has forced climate change activists to disperse after a failed attempt to cause disruptions for a second day in a row today.
On Monday, members of activist group Blockade Australia wreaked havoc across the Sydney CBD for more than an hour on Monday morning by running in the middle of roads and blocking peak hour traffic.
“Their message is insane alarmism, it is just another doomsday message,” Mr Kenny said.
“Now while you and I might be pretty disgusted with this anarchy and selfish behaviour by people pushing crazy views, over at the ABC they are much more sympathetic.”
